Breeding Pals in Palworld is a fun and rewarding experience that can help you create stronger Pals. In this guide, we’ll show you how to breed in Palworld and provide some tips to help you get started.
How to Build the Breeding Farm In Palworld
To unlock the Breeding Farm, you need to reach level 19 of the Technology Tree and spend 2 technology points.
To build the Breeding Farm, you will need 100 wood, 200 stone, and 50 fiber. You can refine Fiber from Wood using a Crusher or obtain it from chopping trees. The Breeding Farm requires quite a lot of space to build, so you may need to clear out your base to make room.
Open the build menu and place it down within the vicinity of your base and get to work!
Place a Male and Female Pal in the Farm to Breed
Once you have a Breeding Farm, you can place a male and female Pal inside it to start breeding. Make sure that the Pals you choose to breed are healthy and have good stats.
If you want to breed Pals of the same species, you can choose ones that have complementary stats for better-rounded Pals, or ones that have the same stats to buff them up.
You can also breed two different species of Pals to create a new, more powerful Pal.
Put Cake in the Breeding Farm
To encourage breeding, you need to put Cake in the Breeding Farm. The more Cake you put in the breeding farm, the faster the breeding process will be.
The recipe for Cake is unlocked automatically by building a Cooking Pot, which can be unlocked after reaching Level 17. To bake a Cake, you'll need the following ingredients:
5 Flour
8 Red Berries
7 Milk
8 Egg
2 Honey
How to Incubate an Egg in Palworld
After the breeding process is complete, you will receive an egg that you need to incubate in an Egg Incubator. Once the egg hatches, you will have a new Pal that you can raise and train.
The egg hatch time can vary from a few hours to a few days. You can speed up the incubation time by making the environment closer to the preferred conditions of the egg.
Eggs that are a little too cold can be heated up by having the incubator indoors, next to a campfire, and/or next to a heater powered by a Fire-type Pal. The higher the Kindling level of the Pal, the hotter it will be.
Eggs that are a little too hot can be cooled with a Cooler powered by a Cooling type Pal. The higher the Cooling level of the Pal, the cooler it will be.
The environment of your base will also play into how hot/cold the incubators will be. For example, if you have your base in the Desert, it will also have hotter conditions for your Incubator.
Conclusion
Breeding Pals is a fun way to acquire new and stronger Pals passively. These new Pals can then be trained up or used in an Essence Condenser to make your other Pals stronger. I hope this guide has helped you learn more about the basics of how to Breed in Palworld.
